FUNCTION: Dog Company.

CLASSIFICATION FCI: GROUP IX Dog Company. Section 4: Hairless Dogs. Without working trial.

GENERAL APPEARANCE: A small dog, active and graceful, with medium to light bones, hairless body, with only fine hair on feet, head and tail or covered with a soft veil of hair.

FEATURES: There are two different types of this breed, the deer kind, light-boned and vivacious nature and type of body and bone Cobby heavier.

TEMPERAMENT: It is cheerful, never vicious or malicious.

HEAD AND SKULL: Skull: Slightly rounded and elongated. clearly delineated cheeks, thin and flat, tapering into muzzle. Stop: Slightly pronounced, but not excessively. Head flat without creases. The distance between the skull to stop equal to distance from stop to the tip of the nose.

Muzzle: Tapering slightly but never pointed, lean without flews.

Nose: A prominent feature, narrow in keeping with muzzle. Any color is acceptable to the nose.

Head: Head presenting graceful appearance with alert expression. The lips are adherent and thin. Ideally, the crest should start from the stop tapering off down to the bottom of the neck. The crest can be of any length should preferably be a long and flowing crest, but it is also sparse acceptable.

Eyes: So dark as to appear black. They should show the conjunctiva or very little of it. Medium size and its implementation is very separate.

Ears: Set low: highest point of the base of the ear is level with outside corner of eye. Large and erect, with or without fringe, except in Powder Puffs where drop ears are permissible.

JAWS AND TEETH: Jaws strong with a regular scissor bite perfect, ie the upper teeth closely overlapping on the lower teeth and set square to the jaws.

NECK: Clean, without dewlap, long and sloping gracefully into the shoulders are strong. During the movement the dog carried high and slightly arched.

BODY: Medium to long. Flexible.

Croup: Well rounded and muscular.

Back: Firm.

Chest: Rather deep, moderately broad, not barrel ribbed. The sternum is prominent.

Chest: Let down to elbow and is moderately tucked up.

Forequarters Shoulders well, narrow and well laid back. Former members long and slender, set well under body. Elbows close to body.

Pastern: Fine, strong, almost vertical.

Feet: Toes turned neither in nor out.

Hindquarters
Legs: Strong and long that slope gently toward low hocks. The angulation of the rear limb must be such that the level back. The hindquarters are well separated.

FEET: extremely in a "hare", narrow and very long, with unique elongation of small bones between joints, especially in forefeet, which almost appear that they have a piece of additional bond. Nails can be any color, moderately long. The "socks" (hairy skin of the feet) should ideally be limited to the fingers and must not extend above the carpal joint. Foot Neither turned in nor out.

TAIL: Set high, carried up or out when in motion. It is long, tapering to the tip, fairly straight, not curled or twisted to either side, falling naturally when at rest. Plume long and flowing, confined to the lower third of the tail. Pen is acceptable low.

MOVEMENT: Long, flowing and elegant with good reach and plenty of drive.

COAT: No large patches of hair anywhere on the body. The skin must be fine-grained, soft, warm to the touch. In Powder Puffs coat consists of an inferior with a soft veil of long hair, is characteristic of the skin in a veil.

COLOR: Any color or combination of colors.

SIZE AND WEIGHT:
Size of the cross in male dogs 28 to 33 cm (11 to 13 inches) in females 23 to 30 cm (9 to 12 inches). The weight varies considerably, but should not be greater than 5.5 kg (12 pounds).

FAULTS: Any departure from the foregoing points should be considered a fault and the seriousness of this is considered the degree of deviation from the standard.

NOTE: Male animals should have two apparently normal testicles fully descended into the scrotum.
